IMS FFA Grant

Iowa Mennonite School’s FFA Program was one of six Iowa FFA chapters to receive a $1,500 grant from the Iowa Food and Family Project. These “Plant a Seed” grants are to be used to promote agricultural awareness and youth activities in their communities.

Registered Republican Numbers See a Jump in Iowa

The number of registered Republicans jumped in Iowa around the caucuses. Across the state, the number of registered Republicans grew by 14,000. Sue Meeks, the Elections Clerk in Washington County, says our county has seen a jump too.

Main Street Washington Project
