Over 40 4-H’ers Took Part in the Fair’s Communications Night

Washington Go Getter Collin Murphy received the Judge’s Choice trophy from Noon Kiwanis for his presentation about the family tradition of 4-H. Washington County 4-H will send four intermediate 4-Hers to the State Fair: David Hora from Jackson Jets with his “Super Soy” presentation. Kristen Twinam and Brooke Stout with a presentation about Organ Donation and Katie Palmer with her presentation about Salmonella. Amanda Pfeifer of the Riverside Enterprisers and Bows & Bullets 4-H Club was awarded as an alternate for the State Fair.

A number of Washington 4-H’ers have already been selected to go to the state fair, as the Washington County 4-H Communications Night was held this week.
