Lone Tree Boys’ Track Sending 10 Athletes to State Meet

Three Relays and an Individual Event Heading to State for WACO Girls

Relays have been a strong point for the WACO girls’ track team all spring and they will be taking three relay teams and one individual event to Des Moines thanks to their performances at home in the regional track meet last Thursday.

Three Events Competing for Wapello Track Team

The Wapello Indians’ boys’ track team will be taking one relay team to the state meet tomorrow. The 4×800 relay team had the 15th best time in Class 2A with a time of 8:23.22. Athletes include sophomore AJ Ponce, junior Tariq Green, senior Brandon Chenoweth and freshman Logan Seeley.

With final seconds ticking down, the Washington Demon boys’ soccer team (3-9 overall; 0-7 Southeast) appeared to have their first ever victory against the Solon Spartans (9-8 overall).

Keota’s Sieren Qualifies for State Track Meet in Three Events
