Double-Double Trouble Last Night in Columbus Girls Win

Columbus beat Wilton last night 67-47.

A 21 point first quarter helped Columbus grab a big lead, and then scoring 13 or more points in the next three helped them extend it.

The Wildcats were led by two double-doubles, one from Megan Pretz with 19 points and 18 rebounds, and the other from Martha Anaya with 12 points and 10 assists. Kelsey Pretz also scored 14 points and Shelly Stewart had 10.

Wilton was led by one player in Grace Austin who went from 23.

Columbus is now 14-8 overall.

Mid-Prairie Boys Play Offensive Force Wilton Tonight

The Mid-Prairie boys will travel to Wilton tonight.

Mid-Prairie is 8-10 and is shooting 37.5 percent from the floor and is scoring 49 points per game.

Dayton Hall leads the way for the Golden Hawks with 189 points on the year.

Wilton is 14-5 and is shooting 45.5 percent from the field and scoring 62.5 points per game.

They are led by Cole Crawford with 440 points on the year, scoring an average of 23 points per game.

Mid-Prairie and Wilton boys will play right after the girl’s game.
