Golden Hawks split with Meskawki Settlement

For the second time this season the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks boys basketball team scored 90 as they beat Meskawki Settlement. Mid-Prairie won 93-61 in Wellman.

Demon girls look dominate in win

Also on Saturday, the Demons basketball teams were hosting their Pink Out Night, Coaches vs. Cancer. As part of the night both teams wore pink jerseys that were auctioned off at the end of each game and both teams won their games against Tipton going away.

Demon boys beat Tipton

In the boys game the Demons got down early but had a three point lead by the start of the second quarter. They led 35-27 at halftime and would win 79-63.

The Demon boys played a tight game through much of the game with Mount Pleasant but foul trouble and the Panthers outside shooting helped the Panthers to an eight point win.

Demon Pink Out is Saturday against Tipton

When you typically go to a Demon home game you see plenty of orange and black in the stands but Saturday expect to see pink. The Washington Athletic Boosters and the American Cancer Society is sponsoring Coaches vs. Cancer Pink Out when the Demons host Tipton.

Demon boys steamroll Bloodhounds

In the boys game, it was all Demons despite some outside shooting struggles in the first. The Demons led 12-2 after one went up 24-5 in the second quarter and at halftime led 38-9. Washington wins 66-26.
