4-H Hay Bale Decorating Contest Held

The Washington County Fair is a Hoot bale was decorated by the Limecreek Limelights 4-H Club and welcomes all fair goers at the pit and camper entrance off Highway 1. Photo submitted.

The 4-H hay bale decorating contest returned to the Washington County Fair after being absent for a number of years.

Title: Contests
Description: The Washington County Fair Association will be holding a large animal contest and a tall cornstalk contest at this year\’s fair. Categories for the animal contest include horse, bull, boar, sheep goat and rabbit. Animals will be weighed in at noon Monday, July 20th at the fairgrounds. Tall corn contest also begins at noon. Drop them off at the depot between 8am and noon. Call 653-2552 for more information.
