Tractor Ride

Title: Tractor Ride
Description: Louisa County Historical Society will host its annual tractor ride on Saturday June 23. We will meet at the museum at 8 a.m. and leave at 9 a.m. A noon lunch will be served on the ride and an evening meal will be at the museum at the end of the ride, when we will also draw names for prizes. The public is invited to join, for questions call 319-530-0857.

Description: The Washington Area Amateur Radio Club and Washington County Amateur Radio Emergency Service are having a 24 hour field day from June 23 at 1 p.m. to June 24 at p.m. at Washington County Hospital and Clinics. Stop by and check out what they do in their air-conditioned communication trailer. You can have a chance to communicate with another ham radio operator somewhere in the U.S.

Description: PAWS & More Animal Shelter is having a fill the van fundraiser on Saturday June 23 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The goal is to fill the PAWS & More van full of supplies at Hy-Vee and Hy-Vee will have special marked down prices for the supplies PAWS & More needs. There will also be baked goods for sale and proceeds will go the animal shelter.

CCA Deadline

Conger House

Description: The Conger House Museum in Washington will be open on Sunday June 17 from 1-4 p.m. The exhibit this summer features the Washington County WWI collection to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the U.S. involvement in the great war. You may also explore Washington County historical artifacts and collects. The museum will be open on the 3rd Sunday of each month from June through October. Entrance is $5 for adults and $3 for children. All proceeds go toward preserving our history for generations to come.
