Description: The Council of Mid-Prairie Churches is sponsoring a clothes give-away for residents of the Washington County area. It will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Kalona United Methodist Church located at 4th Street and C Avenue. The give-away will be on Friday, July 22 from 1-6 PM and Saturday, July 23 from 9-noon. Good, clean used clothing, shoes, coats, and linens will be available to families needing assistance with these items.

Description: There will be a 4-H and FFA Livestock Auction on Friday, July 22nd starting at 9 AM at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The livestock that will be sold include sheep, goats, rabbits, swine, and cattle, though buyers will not take possession of swine. Description: A stand up paddleboard clinic will be offered on Wednesday, July 20th at Snively Campground near Wapello. There will be three 45-minute sessions starting at 6 PM, 6:30 PM, and 7 PM. Description: There will be a CDG Research Fundraiser in honor of Everlee Scarlet Vittetoe on Saturday, July 16th at 5 PM at Lebowski\’s Rock \’N Bowl. A dinner will be offered from 5-7, and a silent auction will run from 5-8:15. Ryne Doughty will perform from 7-9. There will be a free will donation for the meal, and 20% of all drink sales will be donated to the Rocket Fund to support CDG research.

Washington Softball to Resume Conference Doubleheader Versus Mt. Pleasant Today
