Description: The Keota Eagles Advocates are sponsoring an event featuring hypnotist and magician John Greene on Friday (12/30) at 7 p.m. in the Keota High School Gym. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and can be purchased ahead of time or at the door. Funds raised will go towards updating the student lounge and replacing lockers. Community members and students have volunteered to be hypnotized, but they will also take volunteers from the audience.

Cookies and Cocoa with Santa

Description: The WACO varsity girls basketball team is hosting \”Cookies and Cocoa with Santa\” on Tuesday (12/20) during the boys varsity basketball game. Free-will donations will be accepted with proceeds going toward new uniforms for the girls team. Photos with Santa will cost $5. The game and event will start around 7:30 pm, and Santa will leave by 8:30 pm.

Description: Starstruck Productions is presenting \”An Evening of Stars\” talent show on Saturday, January 21st at the Washington Area Performing Arts and Events Center at 7 p.m. Cost to attend is $10 for adults and $5 for students, tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. They are currently accepting registrations for the show from local acts. The show is open to talent of all ages, though each performer may only appear in the show once. There is a $50 entry fee, and the program is limited to 25 acts. Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as prizes for audience choice and judge\’s choice. Description: Louisa County Conservation is hosting a Winter Nature Camp and registration is now open. There are four camps being offered at Langwood Education Center, divided by grade level. Pre-school and kindergarten camp will be held from 9-11 am, and 3rd and 4th grade camp will be held from 12:30-3 pm, on Wednesday December 28th. 1st and 2nd grade camp will be held from 9-11:30 am, and 5th and 6th grade camp will be held from 12:30-3 pm, on Thursday, December 29th.
