Description: Jefferson County Extension is offering a four week course called Women Managing Crops on Wednesdays in February. Classes will be held form 6-9 p.m. with a light meal served at 5:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Extension Office in Fairfield. The first class will be held February 1st. Cost for the course is $50. Description: The Johnson County Historical Society is hosting a program on Harriet Tubman in honor of Black History Month. The event will take place on Sunday, February 19th, starting at 2 p.m. at the Johnson County Historical Society Museum. Description: Washington County Conservation is hosting its annual ice fishing clinic Saturday, January 21st at 1 p.m. at Marr Park. Participants should meet at the Conservation Education Center. There is no cost, and refreshments, including hot cocoa, will be served. Participants are welcome to bring their own ice fishing gear. Anyone 16 or older is required to have a fishing license.
