Description: Louisa County Conservation is hosting “Monarch Mania” on Sunday, September 17 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Langwood Education Center. If you’re interested in monarch migration and conservation, this is the program for you. Learn about the citizen science behind monarch tagging before catching and tagging monarchs. We’ll bring the insect nets and tags. This will be an active program in the Langwood Prairie so be sure to wear sturdy shoes and long pants.

Description: Mid-Prairie Feed the Kids will be having their annual dinner and auction on Saturday August 26 at Parkside YMCA Banquet hall. Doors open at 4 p.m. with live music and a silent auction, followed by dinner and ending the evening with a live auction. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to Mid-Prairie Feed the Kids to help provide meals to food insecure kids in Washington County.
