Title: Scholarship Deadline
Description: The Washington County Master Gardeners are offering a $500 scholarship to a deserving Washington County resident pursuing a horticultural related degree or certificate from a college or university in the state of Iowa. Graduating high school seniors as well as county residents returning to school are eligible. Applications are available at all Washington County high schools, at the Washington County Extension office or on the extension website. Applications are due April 16 and should be sent to Nancy Adrian at Washington County Extension.

Description: The Crawford Township Benefited Fire District is hosting their annual pancake breakfast Saturday March 31 from 6-9 a.m. at the fire station in Crawfordsville. They will serve eggs, pancakes, sausage gravy, hash browns and sausage patties. This year’s proceeds will be used as contributing funds towards a Riverboat grant to replace air packs and air tanks on engine one.
