Description: WACO Schools are hosting youth boys and girls basketball tournaments for students in 4th-6th grades to raise funds for the 2017 Junior/Senior prom. The girls basketball tournament will be held Saturday, February 18th, and the boys tournament will be held Saturday, February 25th. Entry is $75 per team, and there will medals for 1st and 2nd place teams. Admission to the tournaments will be $2 for students and $3 for adults. Community members and students have volunteered to be hypnotized, but they will also take volunteers from the audience.

Firefighters from five departments fought a fire in downtown Riverside Monday evening. The fire was in an apartment on the south side of Highway 22 near Washburn street.
