The Washington Demon girls basketball team has been unable to make up two games lost because of weather, so they’ve added a game against a ranked team to their schedule. The Demons will go on the road to play 8th ranked Marion. The Demons were suppose to host Burlington last Monday and that was postponed to this Monday only to be canceled because of weather. Then the Demons were suppose to go on the road to play Mid-Prairie on Tuesday but that was also postponed because of weather and when the schools couldn’t find a make up date it was canceled. Demon Head Coach Phil Long says he feels playing Marion on Saturday as their final regular season game will be a really good test prior to beginning postseason play. Saturday’s game at Marion will be varsity only and will start at 4-pm.
