Ten local small business owners are receiving funding for participating in a workshop presented by the Keokuk County Extension and the Indian Hills Community College. The workshop is designed to give new small business owners the skills to be successful. Over two thousand dollars were awarded to participants who completed a Business Plan in the program. The awards are to be used for project assistance for small businesses. The program is funded by a grant from the ISU Community Vitality Center and the USDA.
