There continues to be a greater than normal risk of flooding across eastern Iowa. That’s according to the National Weather Services third spring flooding outlook of the season. Hydrologist Maren Stoflet says the prediction is made using historical data and factoring in “normal temperatures and precipitation for this time of year.” She says the risk of flooding is similar to slightly less than the previous outlook.
