Citizens are concerned about Iowa’s new gun law. Senator Sandy Greiner says the reason for the gun law became so important was the differences between counties. She says the previous gun law may not have affected many people who lived in the middle of the county, but it affected those who live on the county line. Greiner says, one neighbor might have a permit, and one on the other side of the road might not. Greiner notes many people thought they weren’t being treated fairly is what made the gun law become a priority in the legislature.
