Governor Terry Branstad has ordered all flags across the state to be flown at half-staff this weekend.  The directive is in honor of Sergeant Brent Maher of Honey Creek, Iowa and Specialist Donald Nichols of Shell Rock who were killed in Afghanistan earlier this month.  This order applies to all flags on display at the Capitol Complex, all public buildings, grounds and facilities throughout the state.

The flags will be flown at half staff until Monday morning at 8:00.
