Mid-Prairie High School is considering having solar panels installed on the roof of the new High School building. Superintendent Mark Schneider says it would be a joint venture between the Trimco Roofing Company and Sunlogic, a solar panel company.
The school would not need to pay for the solar panels, but would be expected to buy the energy from the solar panels at a discounted rate.
The Mid-Prairie School System has not come to a decision on this issue, but will be discussing it on Monday October 24th at their work session.
