An event is being held tonight to support a staff member at Washington’s Lincoln Elementary School.  Principal Dave Hoffman says Jim Cavin has been a custodian at Lincoln for over 34 years.  He says he started working for the school district right after he graduated from Washington High School.

Principal Hoffman says Jim is currently in Mayo Hospital waiting for a heart and liver transplant and they are holding a chili supper and silent auction tonight to help the family with medical costs.  It runs tonight from 4:00 to 8:00 in the Lincoln Elementary gym for a free will donation.
