The City of Keota, after discussing the budget for 2012-2013 in closed meetings, will hold a public hearing for the budget today at noon in Keota City Hall. Copies of the proposed budget can be found at the offices of the Mayor, City Clerk, and at the Library. The hearing will give the public an opportunity to makes comments on the budget before it’s approved. All residents are encouraged to attend and will have an opportunity to make statements about the budget. A tax abatement hearing for Keota will also be held this month, on the 19th.
