Iowa Mennonite School students will be in in the Wayland area today to help with the cleanup effort after last weeks severe weather. According to Principal Tony Miller, the plan was to go out yesterday, but with a girls golf tournament going on they decided to push it back so everyone could be involved. All students at IMS will be participating and Tony Miller notes that when they sent out emails describing their plans they received a positive response.
Tony Miller also mentioned that a staff member was directly affected by the severe weather, losing a turkey barn. The cleanup will involve walking fields and picking up debris
