Construction plans have been set for the lane configuration of Highway 92 in Washington.  This work stems from a lane change approved by the City Council in April of last year where West Madison will have one lane in each direction with a center turn lane.  The new traffic pattern will take effect after the Iowa Department of Transportation resurfaces the road.

The resurfacing project runs from the Highway 1 interchange to 2nd Avenue.  The work is scheduled to begin the week of July 23rd and should end the middle of October.
