The 14th Annual Brinton Film Festival is opening tonight. Mike Zahs from the Ainsworth Opera House says the festival is showcasing some of the oldest films in existence, including several that date back as far as 1894. Zahs notes these are some of the films shown as part of the State Theater’s Grand Reopening last year.
Historical information about the films and magic lantern slides are being presented as well. The film festival is happening tonight and tomorrow night at the Ainsworth Opera House beginning at 7:30. An ice cream social takes place both nights at 7:00 before the presentation.
