The city of Washington is in the process of holding an open house for the new waste water treatment plant. City Administrator Brent Hinson says the city was originally going to hold public tours in the fall, but decided to wait until spring.
He says this is because final grading and seeding work will be completed by then. Hinson notes the plant which will cost approximately $17 million will be operational soon.
