An annual celebration is being held in Lone Tree this weekend. Russ Forbes with the Lone Tree Chamber of Commerce says the festival used to be held in the fall but was moved before the start of school to improve attendance.
The Lone Tree Fall Festival begins tomorrow night with carnival rides, Crawdad Races and ends with a live band and street dance.Things start back up Saturday with the Lone Tree Fun Run starting in the Lone Tree High School parking lot. The rest of the day is filled with stuff to do and see, ranging from an egg toss, youth talent show, parade and garden tractor pull.
Fireworks were scheduled for Saturday night but due to the burn ban they’ve been cancelled.
