It’s the first day on the job for the new City Administrator in Riverside. At a special meeting yesterday a motion was brought forward to hire Russell Rogerson of Coralville, and according to Mayor Bill Poch everyone in attendance was in agreement. Rogerson will begin his duties as City Administrator and City Clerk today.

Riverside enlisted the help of Snyder and Associates to fill the position that had been vacant for over a month. At next Mondays City Council meeting, the council will decide whether or not to keep them on to help them find a Deputy Clerk.
