A way to prepare for getting a driver’s license in Iowa is now easier.  Washington County Treasurer Jeff Garrett says a new app for iPad users is available from the Iowa Department of Transportation that offers 15 sample questions that are given on the actual knowledge test to help those getting ready to obtain their driver’s license.

He says the main reason for the release of this app is to try and lower the initial failure rate of those taking the knowledge test.

While this app is currently available for iPad users only, Garrett notes the state is working on making it available for Android users in the future as well as on the Internet.
