The Washington School District is getting ready to start the new school year by welcoming new staff members. Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen says hiring new staff is always good. He says if he were to compare the staff to new college football recruits, the team would receive an “A” rating.
Dr. Jorgensen says it’s about a 50/50 mix of new and experienced teachers with most of them coming from the southeast part of the state.
He notes there is much excitement and anticipation about the upcoming school year across the entire district.
