Despite the inch and a half of rainfall last week, drought conditions in southeast Iowa remain the same. The National Climatic Data Center’s latest information continues to show all of southeast Iowa as severely dry. We are not alone in these conditions – two-thirds of Iowa is just as dry.
Conditions could improve in the next two months as the forecast is calling for an equal chance of precipitation. KCII will continue to monitor the drought conditions across southeast Iowa.
