New and used books are being collected for an annual fundraiser later this month.  Margaret Bell with Washington County Friends of Planned Parenthood says the proceeds from their book sale stays in Washington to benefit men’s and women’s health care issues, cancer screenings, birth control and reproductive education.

Bell says they have many cookbooks and a big collection of hard cover Agatha Christy novels for sale.  The book sale is being held September 26th through the 28th in the 4-H Building at the Washington County Fairgrounds.  To find out where to drop off the books, contact Margaret Bell at 319-653-6933.
