The Washington County Courthouse is open today for early in-person voting. This is the second of two weekends with Saturday office hours across Iowa leading up to Tuesday’s election.
Voters can go to the courthouse from 9 to 5 today. And last weekend was the last day to pre-register to vote. Iowa allows for registration at the polls, but they require more information than those already registered. That information might include a bank statement or a utility bill showing a current address. Monday is the last day of early voting.
On that day, the Washington County Auditor’s office is open from 8 to 4:30. On Tuesday, polling places will be open all day long: 7 to 9. And after the polls close, KCII will have special live coverage that includes results from local races. Again, today’s hours at the courthouse are 9 to 5.
