IMS and Highland baseball will meet tonight for a superconference game on KCII.
IMS comes into the game 10-12 on the year and hitting .320 as a team. They are also on a three game winning streak in which they have scored 13 or more runs in each of the games and have given up just one run in two of the three.
Cameron Gingerich is the lead hitter, hitting .500 on the year with 23 RBI’s, and he is also their leading pitcher with a 1.80 ERA in 42 2/3 innings and opponents hit .190 off of him.
Highland is 4-16 this season, and is on an eight game losing streak. Derrick Stewart is their leading hitter, having a good year at the plate, hitting .421 with 15 RBI’s. Josh Brase does the brunt work of the pitching and in 39 innings has a 1.79 ERA and 33 strikeouts.
