Sources have confirmed that a Washington County employee has pled guilty and paid fines for to two infractions with the DNR. Washington County Director of Conservation Steve Anderson has paid the fines associated with two infractions that occurred in November. According to DNR sources, the first infraction was for pursuing a white tail deer without a valid license, he was hunting in Jefferson County with a tag that was only valid for Washington County and the second infraction was unlawful transportation of a white tail deer.

These infractions will not suspend Anderson’s hunting privileges, so long as he does not have another violation in the next three years.

Anderson declined to comment when contacted by KCII.
