Traditionally, New Year’s Day rings in resolutions – both new and revisited – and warm wishes for family and friends. Americans celebrate with food, family, friends – sometimes football – and some have to take the day to recover from New Year’s Eve festivities. So whether you celebrated out on the town, or if you stayed in and watched the ball drop on Times Square, or if you turned in early and are ringing in the new year later in the day, KCII News hopes that your close to 2013 was a happy one, and here’s to a happy, healthy and prosperous 2014 for everyone in our listening area.
