The Mid-Prairie School Board has narrowed down the projects they want to see funded by a spring bond issue. A combined central office and alternative learning center adjacent to the High School, air conditioning for Washington Township Elementary, and a new heating system for the Middle School are among the half dozen projects chosen. School Board President Jim Hussey says the projects add up to around $10 million. Citizens will now need to present a petition to the board to make the bond issue proposal official. The District plans to educate the public before the bond issue is put to a vote on April 1st.
