A stuck semi caused traffic problems in Brighton yesterday afternoon.The semi, which was hauling a large piece of machinery, became stuck at around 1:30, after taking a sharp turn onto Highway 78 off of Highway 1. It took three hours for crews to get the semi out. While the intersection was blocked, City of Brighton and Washington County Sheriff’s personnel directed traffic.

The semi involved in the incident is owned by a company out of Atalissa, Iowa.
