The new Washington High School Auditorium project is closer to submitting its Vision Iowa grant application. Last night the Washington School Board approved a resolution creating an auditorium advisory committee which will have adequate representation from the school and from community members. At this time the committee includes 12 members but it may change with time as the project progresses. The Vision Iowa grant application may bring more than $1 million to the project.

The total project cost is $7 million and approximately $4.6M has been raised so far.
