School lunch prices will increase later this month at Mid-Prairie Schools. Beginning January 27th, full price meals for students and adults will go up by ten cents. Mid-Prairie Business Manager Cindy Steege says this will help their struggling nutrition account, which needs to be solvent by June 30th, but more will need to be done. The School Board made the price adjustment at their meeting on Monday.
Once the increase takes effect, lunch for students will cost $2.75, while breakfast will go from $1.40 to $1.50.
