Bach Steel is back in Washington County to work on the Bunker Mill Bridge.The crew out of Michigan will pick up where they left off in December. Executive Director of Friends of Bunker Mill Bridge, Julie Bowers, says the company is currently taking steps to make the 126-year-old bridge structurally sound.

She adds they still have stringers and planks available for sponsorship. There are 4 stringers left, and as of yesterday morning, 20 of the 140 planks had been sponsored.

Bowers says the owner of Bach Steel, Nels Raynor, has decided to donate time to install the stringers, due to the outpouring of support the community has shown.
