The Columbus Junction girls basketball team pulled out a huge win last night over second place Pekin.
The Wildcats led 31-12 at half time, and had to hang on for a rough ride in the second half. Pekin outscored Columbus Junction 32-15, but it was just short of a huge comeback and Columbus came away with the 46-44 win.
Kelsey Pretz led the team with 21 points on the night, while Martha Anaya came in with 10.
The Wildcats improve to 4-10 overall and 3-10 in the SEISC.
