A wind chill advisory is in effect for the listening area until noon tomorrow. The advisory is for Henry, Jefferson, Washington, Johnson, Iowa and parts of Louisa and Keokuk counties. Light snow flurries were seen in the area this morning.
County Maintenance Superintendent J.P. VanSickle advised that there are still some slick spots on hard surface roads. He anticipates road conditions to decline this afternoon as the wind picks up, which will cause drifting snow which may stick to the hard surface roads. He advises drivers to take caution.
