The Columbus Junction girls’ basketball team grabbed a low scoring win last night over Wapello.

The Wildcats won 33-26, and kept Wapello in single digit scoring each quarter. Columbus led 21-17 at halftime, and held on in a defensive second half that only saw 21 combined points from both teams.

The Wildcats were led by Kelsey Pretz and Martha Anaya with eight points each, and Claire Hamilton landed six to help Columbus get the win.

Columbus Junction is now 6-10 overall.
