The IMS girls’ basketball team took on Louisa-Muscatine last night, and held on to win 41-29.

The opening quarter was a slow one, as IMS led just 5-4. In the second quarter IMS pulled away from L-M a little more with an 18-9 halftime score.

The third quarter was a scary one for IMS, as the Falcons outscored them 11-6 to get within four at the end of three, but IMS outscored L-M 17-9 in the fourth to finish out the win.

IMS was led by Olivia Yutzy with a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds.

IMS is now 10-7 and plays Pekin on Friday.
