The Columbus Community volleyball team will return to the court this evening in search of back to back wins.The 9-16 Wildcats will travel to Pekin this evening for a Southeast Iowa Super Conference match with the 13-7 Panthers.
Last Thursday, Columbus beat the Iowa Mennonite School in a four game match (15-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-7). Junior Laura Mincks led the way with 14 kills and 16 digs in the victory.
Pekin has been playing good volleyball of late. The Panthers have won nine of their previous 11 matches, including a four set match win against Wapello (25-19, 25-20, 19-25, 26-24) last Thursday.
