Work on a home recently moved to Kalona will begin once the weather improves.
Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity moved the donated home from rural Tiffin to 121 A Avenue before Christmas.
Executive Director of the charity organization, Mark Patton, says beginning in March, there will be opportunities for residents to help with the renovation. They’ll bring in professionals to complete the electrical and duct work beforehand.
Applications are currently being accepted from families interested in living in the home.
