The WACO Warrior Basketball team played in the sectional tournament last night in North English as they took on English Valleys Bears. As you head on AM and FM KCII and KCII radio.com the Warriors feel to the Bears with a final score of 48-36.

WACO had an early lead the game and lead at the end of the first quarter 9-7. Then in the second quarter the Bears got it going on offense thanks in large part to senior Lauren Miller who had 12 of her 20 total points in the second. The half time score was English Valleys up against WACO 38-28. English Valleys continued to get great shooting from Miller and senior Rylee Voss. Voss finished the game with 23 points and 10 rebounds her 18th double-double of the season. Miller and Voss had all but four of the total points for the Bears.

The Warriors were led in scoring by senior Jennie Greene who had 10 points all in the first half. Senior Aaliyah Brown had eight points with three rebounds and senior Gaby Wagler had nine points and six rebounds.

WACO finishes the season with a record of 16-8 with all the starters for WACO graduating from the Warrior basketball team.
