The historic Brinton films will be shown in the State Theater and former opera house in downtown Washington later this fall. Local historian and Brinton expert, Mike Zahs told KCII News the films will be shown November 15 and 16 with attendees from around the world. The shows will be an attempt to recreate the shows Frank Brinton held as closely as possible.
The films are some of the oldest in the world and according to Zahs the State Theater is believed to be the oldest theater in the world to continually show movies. Zahs has been touring and exhibiting the films across the United States and around the world.
