When was the last time you wrote a letter by hand, or received one? The Washington Public Library is hosting “Lasting Link Through Ink” about letter writing on September 26th. Director of the library, Debbie Stanton, explains the event is a letter-writing workshop with Iowa authors Mary Potter Kenyon and Mary Jedlicka Humston. Stanton adds the art of letter-writing may be coming back, noticing more in her mail box as of late. The event is open to everyone and no registration is necessary. The event will be held Saturday, September 26th at 1 p.m.
