A two-car accident north of Washington kept emergency crews busy Tuesday afternoon. The accident was reported around 1:10 p.m. at the intersection of 220th Street and Riverside Road. The collision caused airbags to deploy.
Members of the Iowa State Patrol, the Washington County Sheriffs office, and the Washington County Ambulance responded to the scene, as well as area first responders. It’s unknown at this time of the condition of the drivers or if there were any additional passengers.
