In 2015, 421 cats from PAWS and More in Washington were adopted and now the shelter is trying to get a strong start in the new year. Through the end of January the shelter is offering half priced adoptions on all felines at the shelter.
Last year the shelter took in 486 cats and 209 dogs and found homes for 565 of those. Also, the local shelter was able to reunite 43 dogs and 10 cats with their owners. Amber Talbot, director of PAWS and More, says the shelter had 87 more animals last year than in 2014. The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday each week, for photos of pets looking for their forever homes click here.
