For a 10th straight year Keota High School hosted a state showchoir contest. The school’s showchoir Eaglerock! earned the second best rating a group may earn with a Division 2 rating. Director Jane Edwards says, the group performed very well, and noted she doesn’t believe the group has reached its potential yet and is always striving to improve. After performing the group helped in all areas of hosting including serving food, and guiding other groups to the stage.
Edwards noted it was a long day for students but said they did very well in their hosting duties. Eaglerock! will next compete at Cedar Rapids Washington in the MoShow on February 13th.
